Long-Eared Owl Tail Feather, look for a velvety texture, intricate patterns of black, brown, and buff, and potentially fine black barring on the wingtips, distinguishing it from other owls and raptors.
Longer body feathers often have a complex pattern of brown and buff streaks and mottling, with some smaller feathers showing black and white blocking.
